Seriff, Wolf, and Sipe feaures Daniel Seriff on electric guitar, Jake Wolf on electric bass, and Jeff Sipe on drums. They create music that pushes the boundaries of instrumental jazz music with original compositions and covers of songs by various artists including Radiohead, Patsy Cline, and The Beatles. Their sound is imaginative, atmospheric, and vibrant, featuring each player’s unique instrumental voice.

Starting Saturday 5/13, Taco Billy will be serving food out of their new food truck directly behind Little Jumbo. They have vegan, gluten-free, and [whatever]-friendly dishes. Also, it’s illegal to have alcohol on the sidewalk, so please leave your drink on the table when going out to get your food. If you’d like to bring your drink to the bar, the bartender would be happy to keep an eye on it for you.

Known for many years for his work with Acoustic Syndicate, the Snake Oil Medicine Show, The E.Normus Trio, Donna the Buffalo, AVAS, and many others, Jay Sanders has since returned to his musical roots as a composer and guitarist. His debut solo record, Évanescent, (much of which was honed while playing live at Little Jumbo) will be released in the late spring of 2023.
Alan Hall has been a professional drummer for over 45 years. He’s performed and/or recorded with international jazz artists Lee Konitz, Paul McCandless, Art Lande, Ed Simon, Geoffrey Keezer, Kenny Washington, Rebecca Parris, and Joyce Cooling as well as Cirque Du Soliel, Teatro Zinzanni, Wicked S.F. He has taught at many prestigious jazz institutions including the Berklee College of Music and California Jazz Conservatory. A prodigious composer, Alan also leads the Asheville Jazz Collective, a staple of Little Jumbo's Monday jazz series.

Zack is arguably Asheville's most versatile upright and electric bassist; the go-to guy for just about everyone which keeps him out of the house and averaging 275 gigs a year. Zack has performed extensively in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, including studio work in Asheville, Nashville and New York City.

Twin brothers Andy and Zack Page have been playing music together since.... conception? Their shared life experiences result in a unified sound and unusual affinity whenever they share a bandstand. As the Page Brothers Quartet, the brothers are joined by creative, like-minded sidemen who share the desire to present a diverse program of material that honors the jazz tradition while looking to the future.

Fresh off the release of their 2022 album “Orbit of Sound” and their tour across Europe, virtuoso double bassist and composer Max Johnson presents his trio with Anna Webber (saxophone, flute), and Michael Sarin (drumset). Between the three of them, they have worked with artists such as Anthony Braxton, Mary Halvorson, John Zorn, Dave Douglass, Jen Shyu, William Parker, and this project highlights the individual sounds and experiences of these three unique voices, traversing tightly knit grooving composed music to patient sprawling improvised textures, blending their unique sounds to create something truly special.

E’Lon Bruce Jordan-Dunlap a.k.a E’Lon JD is an American bass player, songwriter, performer and educator. E'Lon has performed on stages as far east as Almaty, Kazakhstan and as far west as Los Angeles, California and can be found on tour anywhere in between. His sound combines elements of soul, funk, jazz, and rock and could be described best as groovin', melodic driven, feel good music. He has recorded with acts such as, Phony Ppl, and The Gregory Bros., and has shared the stage with Belá Fleck, Members of Snarky Puppy, Victor Wooten, and Weedie Braimah and the Hands of Time. He is currently the bass player in the internationally touring band Jonathan Scales Fourchestra. E'Lon JD is a musical furnace burning up stages and warming up our hearts across the globe.

Come be among the first to hear Jay Sanders' new record, Evanescent. Honed at LJ for well over a year, the record features many of LJ's favorite musicians. A jam session will follow with many of the record's players.
Dr. Tim Fischer has participated as an active member in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and the coastal southeast performance communities as a solo artist, bandleader, sideman, and concert organizer. He performs both traditional and modern styles of jazz, as well as contemporary classical and popular music. He also serves as an arranger and composer in a variety of ensemble settings. As a bandleader, he has organized national and international tours, and performed in multiple festivals and concert series. He has recorded as a sideman and, as a leader, has released two albums of original compositions and arrangements.
