The unique sound of the Pavel Wlosok Quartet is an intoxicating blend of jazz traditions including swing, modal, and Latin jazz, along with influences of contemporary twentieth & twenty-first century music, World music, and Czech folk music. Most of the repertoire is based on original compositions, exciting new arrangements of jazz standards, as well as traditional styles of modern jazz ranging from the pre-swing era, through swing and cool jazz, to be-bop, modal, and beyond. For this Little Jumbo date on June 17th, 2024 Pavel has invited Asheville’s finest to join him.
